Paula Abdul's Heartbreaking Betrayal

I broke down and cried (seriously) after hearing this leaked audio recording; a private conversation between Paula Abdul and her handlers. Paula is so kind to everyone, and to all the American Idol people, too! She doesn't deserve this type of treatment at all. She deserves better. This is the epitome of invasion of privacy.

Paula Abdul tells TMZ.com:

"I am deeply hurt and extremely disappointed that someone has taken a private telephone conversation that I had with my representatives and released it to the media. This is not only illegal but also highly unethical. While I don't feel a need to justify or explain my conversation, even as a public figure I do feel my privacy has been violated and find this action to be unacceptable."

The media vultures have swooped down upon Hollywood lately; attacking beautiful women while they are down. Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, all are being ripped to shreds by the media in their time of need. We need to support them when they make mistakes and admit to them. Paris admitted her mistake in a statement through her publicist. Britney admitted she "hit rock bottom" on her official website. Nicole told Ryan Seacrest that she is "willing to face whatever consequences" for her recent actions. Lohan is in rehab and we have yet to see her take on her actions.NOWPaula Abdul has been BETRAYED by her own handlers, publicist and of course by THE MEDIA! A private audio recording is floating on tabloid sites all over the internet. The audio recording was of a phone conversation Paula had recently with her representatives. Paula was crying and very upset about being called "a whining bitch" and "too old to do a magazine cover" by publicist Howard Bragman. She also said she got left without a publicist when Bragman was a no-show at her Jimmy Kimmel show appearance. Abdul said it was "disgusting behavior" on Bragman's behalf to be a no-show after paying him $5,000 and an additional $2,500.Ironicly, a rep tells Paula at the start of the conversation: "you're going to start being treated better RIGHT NOW!"What a LIE!Somebody was recording Paula without her knowledge and consent and now, private medical info Abdul disclosed to the handlers is now PUBLIC!Paula says on the audio file she is now struggling with newly diagnosed Addison's Disease (an adrenal disease that can strike at any age) in addition to her "severe problems with her neck" and "spinal cord-injury"."All I ever want..in my life is to be treated FAIRLY... I work in a very demanding job that requires me to be in front of people all the time and sometimes when the pain hits, it will take your breath, your body and your brain away and there is nothing you can do about it. If her pain is like mine, it will strike with NO warning and leave you breathless and breaking out in a cold sweat. I, too, move around alot to release the tension in the tendons, seem to slur my words because I am just trying to catch my breath, in short, exhibit the same types of tendancies that Paula exhibits. At least I have understanding people around me who know what I am going through at that moment... I wish that Paula was given the same courtesy. I guess the point of all this is unless you know Paula personally, have experienced the same types of body trauma she has or basically live her life, no one has the right to judge her. The pain is unbearable. you have to take several pain medications just to get thru the day. It is a horrible way to live. I also have no choice but to take powerful pain medications just to function every day. People like Paula should be inspiration for all of us...she perseveres despite all of her medical challenges, despite the fact that medication can at times make one seem "loopy" (NOT drunk!!!), and despite all the cruelty put forth by those who feel that they have the superior right to judge others. Despite my afflictions, I can also thank God for teaching me what it means to love one another, be kind and compassionate, and to be a blessing to others as opposed to judging and inflicting pain upon others with my words and actions. My prayer is that your hardened hearts might soften and that your eyes will be opened. Paula is a kind hearted person who is dealing with more than most of us ever will. Online readers have some things to say about La Lohan:Jane Fonda is a born-again christian and so is LLs dad recently. The born-again thing can be real and is for most. I am beleiving that there is no coincidence in that. Her dad is for real in his new way of seeing...it is a change of heart, literally...that you now see with God type of vision. Jane knows this too. I hope that Jane Fonda does get throughto her and her dad also. But truly she will never come to God (Jesus) until HE calls her. The bible makes this clear, that God woos us, we think it us calling out to Him, but actually, He has been working on us since we were born, when we finally call to Him and believe it is because we actually finally respond. Don't discount LLs dads new found faith. Unless its happened to you, you can't understand it. All of these comments most of you people put down are absolutely heartless and uneducated. You people that are dissing Lohan have no clue that addiction is a proven genetic disease that once that invisible addiction line has been crossed becomes a disability/handicap, mental obsession, etc... Parents or relatives of addicts and alcoholics who are addicts themselves have as common a chance of passing on this addictive gene to their children as they do passing on the dominant brown eyed gene to their children. I am a pill addict myself and most of my family are recovered alcoholics or addicts who had to go to treatment and are now saving people's lives and/or inspiring those people who have lost or never found their identity usually because they have spent their entire lives subconsciously trying to fix their parents/loved ones' problems by pleasing them or being the picture perfect kid/friend/girlfriend...ie: taking that college soccer scholarship regardless of how burnt out they've become because they've played so long it's not fun anymore...but hey, subconsciously that kid knows that their identity will remain in tact if they play soccer or make good grades because they are comfortable with the identity they inevitably formed while growing up. Once this person's identity has been labeled "a great soccer player" for so long and they quit, they have know idea who they are anymore...Therefore, once they self medicate long enough (it's different for everyone), the regular chemical called dopamine in our brains that makes us happy dissappears and is replaced (which depending on how long, takes a long time to come back if ever). Once this happens and you've been in active addiction for some time, you continue taking the alcohol/drugs not just for the high, but just to feel normal. At this stage, without the drug, you feel uncomfortable in your own skin and are irritable, restless, and discontent. This disease of true addiction is so cunning, progressive, and fatal. My progression from taking 5 vicodin a day to 20-30 a day only took 6 months. If it doesn't kill you, you'll end up in jail, or an institution. Most proven way to beat it is doing the work in AA or NA...not your own way...I did that myself for 5 years and my best thinking got me into treatment centers twice. Addiction is a disease just like cancer. If you found out you had cancer and truly wanted to recover, would you avoid help/chemotherapy? Britney Spears Posts A New Message To Her Fans

Britney Spears is really geting her life in order. She has done concerts in California, Orlando and Miami (South Beach) Florida, she has got her children with her and properly strapped into to their cars seats the right way, and she looks healthier and happy to be a mom and a performer.She has had nothing but encouraging words for the media regarding Paris: "I love Paris", said Britney....and regarding Lindsay: "(her car was) messed up.. I hope she's ok"Now Britney again shares her innermost feelings and thoughts with us, the fans:Britney Spears has just posted the following message to her fans (the second this month) on her official website.Spears says:"Dear Fans,I just wanted to reach out to all of you and explain some of the things that I have been faced with recently.It's so funny how many stories are put out there about people. It's like we all want our side of the story out there as well, but at the end of the day only a few people care to hear what is really going on since the bad is always so much more interesting than the truth. I don't know why, but this is so weird to me. I used to be angry at the tabloids for printing horrible things about me, but now I try to just be numb to what I see. I saw Tyra Banks once get really upset and cry on her show because they made her look fat. We all want a certain image of ourselves out there, and at some point we all do really care what other people think or we wouldn't be here.Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. Till this day I don't think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD. I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce. I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn't know who to go to. I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost.This letter is to not place blame on anyone, although I do see the world with a completely different set of eyes now. Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me. I think the whole problem was letting too many people into my life. You never know another persons intentions or what another person wants. I feel I was too open and looking for answers when I had it all to begin with. I have had to cut so many people out of my life. It is so sad, because if anyone is a family person...it is me. When I was little I remember every night watching movies with my family and feeling so at peace. Dancing and singing all the time just like a little girl should. Now recently I find with my children that I want them to have that feeling all of the time. I am having to face a lot of things right now since I have children of my own. A lot of insecurities from when I was little are coming up again. It is like we are never good enough.I know everyone thinks that I am playing the victim, but I am not and I hate what is going on right now so much. Maybe this is the reason for this letter...to maybe allow people to look at me differently. It is like when you are a real woman and say what you feel and how you think things are supposed to be, that people just say you are a "bitch."I feel like some of the people in my life made more of some issues than was necessary. I also feel like they knew I was beginning to use my brain for a change and cut some ties, so they wanted to be in more control of my life than me. I think it is actually normal for a young girl to go out after a huge divorce. I think it was a bigger issue because I had not gone out in such a long time. I am 25 and I do still have a lot to learn, and I am going to make mistakes everyday, and I am sure every mistake I make will probably be on CNN or Good Morning America. I am only human people and I love you for still loving me.I am sitting here at home and it is 6:25 and both of my sons are asleep. I am truly blessed to have them in my life. Everyday is so surreal. Life in general is so surreal and crazy.I just hope this letter made some of you think a little bit more of me and where I am coming from. I just want the same things in life that you want...and that is to be happy. It is just so weird because everyone has their own perception of me and how they think I really am. Shanna Moakler Becomes Another Candy Spelling And Won't Mind Her Own Business

At 32 years of age, Shanna Moakler is most famous for being in lame pageants, being engaged and having offspring with boxer Oscar De La Hoya, then marrying and divorcing and having kids with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and having Barker raise De La Hoya's offspring too. She seems obsessed with the younger, prettier girls like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan and she's hungry for the level of fame and independent wealth (i.e., on your OWN, without marrying into money) that these young women have.

The former Playboy Playmate is coming out on the attack against these women in which she envies. Unlike Candy Spelling, who used the celebrity website TMZ.com to post open letters to Paris, Joe Francis and Larry Birkhead, Shanna took the MySpace route to express her...envy.

"When you making 8 million dollars a film.....HIRE A DRIVER!!I've been getting a lot of letters asking my thoughts on recent events, so here it goes.... I know a lot of people think karma is going around and yeah I guess it might be, but to me..this is far from karma, if anything people like Paris love this shit, walking out of a court house to be met by a bevy of paparzzi like princess diana...carrying the bible around...loves it! Karma will be the day she's married and has kids and her husband goes and fucks a 22 yr old and knocks her up. I don't find happiness in others when they are down, but I sure in hell don't feel bad for people who play the victim constantly and are far from it. People who feel it's their job to make people feel beneath them or take opportunities others would die for an shit on them and frankly make a mockery of. I contacted Shanna a while back on MySpace to ask her to refrain from being so full of hate towards people, especially publicly, because she should think of her children and how that will affect them now and later in life. Shanna read the message, but never responded.

Shanna, please raise all those children and stop being so damn involved in other people's affairs. Be glad a man like Travis is with you again after your infamous "DIVORCE PARTY" you threw in your own honor not long ago talking smack about him before the reconciliation. Hardcore Blink 182 and Travis fans were NOT pleased with Shanna after she pulled that "DIVORCE PARTY"stunt.

UPDATE: Beverly Hills Police spokesperson said that Lindsay Lohan was arrested and served at the hospital, that further charges are pending the investigation. The vehicle was located and impounded. The cops found narcotics tentatively id'd as cocaine. Sounds like the case will be under investigation until next week, then will be sent to the DA.UPDATE - At a press conference officals said that additional FELONY charges may be added. They found illegal narcotics in her car. They said her injuries were in the "chest area."

The Associated Press reports that 20 year old Lindsay Lohan was cited Saturday for investigation of driving under the influence after an early morning traffic accident, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

La Lohan crashed her Mercedes convertible into a curb near the intersection of Foothill Drive and Sunset Boulevard at approximately 5:25 am Saturday morning. Two other people were in the car with her. Lohan, who was slightly injured in the accident, was taken to a local hospital by a private vehicle. No other cars were involved according to CBS News. One unconfirmed report states that one of the two other passengers in the vehicle was DJ/Singer Samantha Ronson, who had her track "Built This Way" featured in Lohan's film hit "Mean Girls" in 2004. The two other passengers reportedly received minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

The actress/singer was not taken to jail immediately, but was served with a citation for the investigation of suspicion of DUI, which was issued to her at the hospital.

Lohan publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik did not immediately return calls or e-mails requesting a comment.

Lindsay recently sought treatment at a rehab facility in Malibu, California. The 20-year-old actress/singer told Allure Magazine during an interview that she decided to enter the secluded Wonderland Center, an addiction treatment facility, not because she was an addict, but at the suggestion of her therapist. "It's so weird that I went to rehab. I always said I would die before I went to rehab," Lohan said. Her room was "all white, with a parquet, and it was different! I just felt safe," Lohan said. "I thought, I'm going to stay here tonight. And I stayed there. For a month. It was great."

Lohan said in January that she had checked into the center.Her publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick confirmed in December that Lohan was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

Recently, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office declined to file felony grand theft charges on May 9 because of insufficient evidence, spokeswoman Jane Robison said. Prosecutors couldn't confirm Lohan walked off with the complainant's clothes.

Lindsay has stated in previous interviews the importance of being honest, but hasn't recently practiced what she preaches. Lohan stated: "I’m a big believer in karma so I believe it will come back and get you if you lie. It's bad karma, and I'm a big believer in karma—hence the fact that I've studied kabbalah. I'm very true to the 'Treat people the way you want to be treated' sort of thing."

La Lohan must not have been thinking of karma when she misled anxious fans at the New York premiere of "Georgia Rule"into believing she would return to sign autographs and failed to do so. She has also been video recorded in recent months by paparazzi contradicting herself with the statements she has made on several occasions.

Lindsay will have to make a court appearance for this latest car accident sometime in the next month, according to the BHPD.
